Annie Lucretia CRONK (1888-1956) has some interesting ancestors on her family tree including Moses LINTON (1562–1622) the emigrant in 1609; Revolutionary War Patriots, Captain John Augustine Elliott LINTON (1769–1822) 2nd great-grandfather, Privet Benjamin Franklin PADGETT (1755–1799) 3rd great-grandfather, Privet William TYLER Jr., (1758–1829) 3rd great-grandfather, Captain John MILLS (1755–1797)  5th great-grandfather, General William GRAYSON (1740–1789) Senator  3rd great-granduncle; President George WASHINGTON (1733-1798) 5th cousin five times removed, President James Monroe (1758-1831)   2nd cousin 5 times removed.  

Annie was the daughter of Charles Fenton CRONK (1852–1918) Georganna Lucretia COXEN (1855–1897), Annie married Charles "Charlie" Edward LINTON (1890-1958) on on December 1, 1909, in Alexandria, Virginia.

Annie's Linton Family Roots springs from the “Virginia Lintons”. Annie was the great-granddaughter of Peter MILLS (1800-1855) & Cyntharine "Cynthia" LINTON (1796-1865) of Lintonsford Plantation, Prince William County, Virginia. Cynthia the daughter of Captain John Augustine Elliott LINTON (1769–1822) of Revolutionary War fame & Sarah TYLER (1763–1835), Cynthia was the granddaughter of Captain John MILLS (1755–1797) & Elizabeth Annie LINTON (1744–1798).

Cyntharine "Cynthia" LINTON’s (1796-1865) family roots springs from Annie's 13th great-grandfather John LINTON (1482–1548) born in 1482 in Linton, Cambridgeshire, England and died on September 20, 1548 in Exhall, Coventry, Warwickshire, England.

 

Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987) & Evelyn Virginia BIRD (1922-2012) 

Kirk was born on January 29, 1914, at Mount Vernon Distrist, Fairfax County, Virginia and died on July 18, 1987, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Evelyn was born on May 17, 1922, in Fort Worth, Tannant County, Texas and died on November 14, 2012, in North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas.
