Isaiah LINTON (1939-1775) Quaker Master Millwright, that designed and engineered the erecting of Harford County's Jerusalem Merchant Mill and eighteen other water-powered grist mills and one known iron works in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and Balitmore County, Maryland.
Isaiah was educated in the Quaker tradition, "based on the conviction that education must make one familiar with the spiritual forces surrounding their life, understanding the problems of social life, and to understand the workings of one's indulged profession."
