Joseph Pierre du CHESNE (1479–1539) & Lady Marie LAITHE (1480–1504) were the 12th great-grandparents of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987).

Joseph was born in 1479 and died in 1539 in Lille, Antwerpen, Belgium. He married Marie LAITHE (1480–1504) in 1499 in Champguyon, Marne, France. Marie was born in 1480, in Champguyon, Marne, France and died 1504 in Lille, Antwerpen, Belgium.

Joseph & Marie had one known child, Charles du CHESNE (1500–1587) Charles was born in 1500, in Lille, Antwerpen, Belgium and died in 1587, in Calais, France.

According to the U.S. and Canada, Passenger and Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s, Phillippe Du TRIEUX (1586-1653) & Marie Susanna du CHESNE (1601–1654) and their daughter Marie departed the Netherlands at the beginning of April 1624 on the ship "New Netherland" and arrived at New Amsterdam present day New York in mid-May.
