Thomas Jefferson BIRD II, (1899-1969) was born on October 21, 1899 in Birdville, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Thomas was the son of Thomas Jefferson BIRD I (1861-1931) & Drusilla GAY (1868-1948). Thomas was roofer by trade. Thomas married Katrinka Catherine Mary SCHUTTE in 1923 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. Katrinka was born in 1906 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Thomas & Katrinka had five children: Thomas Jefferson BIRD III (1925-1929); Frederick W. BIRD Sr.(1926); Jimmy Charles BIRD (1930); William B. BIRD (1932); Lawrence Joe BIRD (1934); Armand Daniel BIRD (1936). Thomas died on October 25, 1969 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. at age 70, and was buried on October 27, 1969 in Garden of Angels Section of Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas. Katrinka died on May 22, 1977, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 71, and was buried on May 23, 1977 Garden of Angels Section of Mount Olivet Cemetery in, Fort Worth, Texas. Thomas was the brother of Jeff Augustus BIRD (1893-1954) and the granduncle of Terry Louis Linton.
