Guillaume "William" COUVERS (1530–1572) & Mary COLT (1532-1592) were the 11th great-grandparents of Evelyn Virginia BIRD (1922-2012) and the 10th great-grandparents of Jeff Augustus "Gus" BIRD (1893-1954).
Guillaume "William" COUVERS was born in 1530 in Ile et Villaine Quebern, Finistère, Bretagne France. Ille-et-Vilaine is located in the region of Brittany in the northwest of the France. It is named after the two rivers of the Ille and the Vilaine. Guillaume died in 1572 in Holland, Reusel-de Mierden, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. Reusel-De Mierden is now a municipality in the southern Netherlands. It is located in the North Brabant province.
Guillaume married Mary COLT (1532–1592) on June 19, 1572, in Pays-Bas Netherlands. Mary was born in 1532, in Pays-Bas Netherlands, a coastal lowland region in Northwestern Netherlands forming the lower basin of the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta. Mary died in 1592 in Holland, Reusel-de Mierden, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands.
Guillaume & Mary had two known children: Jeremie COUVERS (1548-1612) & Pierre COUVERS (1550–1577) both born in Ile et Villaine Bretagne France.
