Richard WHITE (1653-1708) & Sarah WOODBRIDGE (1643-1708) were the 7th great-grandparents of Annie Lucretia CRONK (1888-1956) and the 8th great-grandparents of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987). 

Richard WHITE (1654-1708) 1 was the son of William WHITE (1638-1678) emigrant 2 & Anne Rootes RAUGHTON (1630-1678) 2 Richard was born in 1654, in Lancaster County, Virginia and died on July 7, 1708, in Richmond, Wise County, Virginia, at age 54.  Richard’s father William was born on May 15, 1635, in London, Middlesex, England, emigrated to the Virginia Colney and died in 1678 in Lancaster County, Virginia. Richard’s mother Anne was born in 1630 in Jamestown, James City County, Virginia.  Anne was the daughter of Ezekiah Hezechias-Elias RAUGHTON (1594–1630) & Margaret Berman ROOTES (1599–1658). Anne died in 1678 in Lancaster County, Virginia.

 

On May 1, 1660, Richard married Sarah WOODBRIDGE (1643–1708) 3 the daughter of Paul WOODBRIDGE (1621–1691) 4 & Bridget FITZHERBERT (1625–1708) 5 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia. Sarah was born on December 16, 1643, in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia 6 and died on July 7, 1708, in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia, 7 at age 64.

 

Richard & Sarah had one known child:

 

i. Hester WHITE (1661-1695) 8 was born in 1661, in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia 9 and died in 1695 in North Farnham Parish, Richmond County, Virginia at age 34.  Hester married John MILLS Jr., (1650-1704) 10 the son of John MILLS Sr., (1637-1683) 1 & Susannah CHAPLIN  (1638-?) 1 in 1675, in Richmond County, Virginia. 11 John was born in 1650 in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia and died in 1704 in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia at age 54.  Hester & John were the 6th great-grandparents of Annie Lucretia CRONK (1888-1956) and the 7th  great-grandparents of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987). 

 

Sarah next married William Joseph HANKS (1655–1704) on May 11, 1678, in North Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia. William was born on February 1, 1655 and died on February 7, 1704 both in Farnham, Richmond County, Virginia. Joseph & Sarah had two known children: William Joseph HANKS (1670–?) and John HANKS (1681–1740).
