Edward BARTON (1639–1711) & Ann GREEN (1641–1698) are the 6^th great-grandparents Annie Lucretia CRONK (1888-1956) and the 7^th great-grandparents of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987)

Edward BARTON (1639–1711) (1) was the son of Richard BARTON emigrant (2) & Margaret WESTHEAD, (3) Edward was born on October 6, 1639 in Westmoreland County, Virginia. and died on April 2, 1711 in Prince William County, Virginia, at age 71.

Edward married Ann GREEN, (4) daughter of William GREEN (1630–1685) emigrant (3) & Anne SCARLETT (1637–1698). (5) circa 1660 in Stafford County, Virginia. Ann was born on March 24, 1640/41 in Stafford County, Virginia. and died in 1698 in Prince William County, Virginia. at age 57.

Ann & Edward had five known children:

i Lettice BARTON (3) was born on March 17, 1662/63 in Stafford County, Virginia. and died in Prince William County, Virginia.

ii. Margaret Harrison BARTON was born on November 12, 1665 in Copley Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia. She died in 1732 in Hamilton Parish, Prince William County, Virginia at age 67, and was buried in Stafford County, Virginia. Margaret married Moses LINTON, the son of John LINTON and Isabell, in 1694 in Copley Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Moses was born in 1675 in North Farnham, Copley Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia. Moses died in 1729 at Occoquan Falls, Stafford County, Virginia. at age 54 and was buried in 1729 in Stafford County, Virginia.

iii. Constance BARTON was born on January 13, 1666/67 in Stafford County, Virginia. and died on November 17, 1739 in Prince William County, Virginia. at age 72. Constance married George CALVERT in 1718 in Stafford County, Virginia. George was born in 1694 in Stafford County, Virginia. (6) and died in 1772 in Prince William County, Virginia. at age 78.

iv. Ann BARTON (7) was born on August 13, 1690 in Hamilton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia. (8) and died in 1734 in Stafford County, Virginia. at age 44. Ann married John LINTON, (9) son of John LINTON and Isabell, in 1705 in Stafford County, Virginia. (10) John was born in 1670 in North Farnham Plantation, Copley Parish, Westmoreland County, Virginia and died on February 1, 1725/26 in Stafford County, Virginia, at age 56.

v. Margaret Barton (3) was born on November 12, 1694 in Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia. She died in 1734 in Virginia, at age 40.
