Roger LINTON (1641-1715) Baron & Dorothy NEWBERGH (1641-1681) were the 6th great-grandparents of Kirk Louis LINTON (1914-1987).
Roger LINTON was the son of Arthur LINTON Baron Lowe Crosby & Elizabeth KIRKBRIDE. Roger was born on October 21, 1641, in West Linton, Kirk Linton parish, Carlisle, Cumberland, England and died in 1715 in Cheshire, England at age 74.
Roger married Dorothy NEWBURGH,the daughter of Thomas NEWBURGH Anne BROCKHILL, (2) on January 1, 1661 in Down, Ireland. Dorothy was born in 1645, in Consistary, Dublin, Ireland and died in 1681 in Down, Down, Northern Ireland, at age 36.
Roger & Dorothy had thriteen known children:
