Annie Lucretia CRONK Linton (1888-1956)) in 1906, age eighteen, the granddaughter of Charles Greenberry Cronk (1817-1866) of New York and Sarah Annie Mills (1833-1866) of Burke, Fairfax County, VA.. Annie Lucredia Cronk (1888-1956) was the 11th granddaughter of William Linton of Yorkshire, England, of the "Virginia Lintons". She married Charles Edward Linton (1890-1958) the 28th great-grandson of Sir Gualter de Somerville, of the "Scottish Lintons".

Annie with her 1st born child: John Edward Charles LINTON (1910-1911) was born on May 4, 1910, on the Linton Family Farm, in Riverside Park, near Hunters Station and Fort Hunt, in the Mount Vernon District, Fairfax County, Virginia. Charles Jr., died on April 15, 1911, in the Linton Family Farm House. According to Florence Avis Linton Beavers (1912-1990), “Charles Jr., pulled a table cloth down, from the kitchen table, with a hot coffee pot and died of scolded burns in the farm house of Charles and Annie Linton”. Charles Jr. Linton was “buried on top of his grandfather”, in the Union Cemetery section of Washington Street United Methodist Church Alexandria, Virginia.
